Please note that in order to volunteer with Friends of Blue Spring State Park a membership is required. Please see the Memberships tab for details. For all of our volunteer opportunities, you must also become a State Park Volunteer. Find the link at the bottom of the page to create your account through the DEP volunteer portal.
Volunteer Appreciation Potluck
Saturday, August 16th | 5:00 PM
The Wagner’s House
Join us for an evening of celebration, gratitude, and fun as we honor YOU - the incredible volunteers who keep our park thriving! This special event is hosted by Connor and the CSO to recognize the dedication and hard work of all of our volunteers — the true backbone of our park system. Without your efforts, let’s just say… it wouldn’t be pretty!
Potluck Details:
This is an organized potluck, so please RSVP with the dish you plan to bring by emailing: bluespringcso@gmail.com.
The CSO is providing cake and the main BBQ meat, so we need sides, salads, breads, etc. to complement the main course!

Summer Volunteer Opportunities
Sunset at the Zoo!
Join the Friends of Blue Spring State Park at the Central Florida Zoo for “Sunset at the Zoo!” This event features multiple evenings of music, vendors, food trucks, and more. Help the Friends of Blue Spring State Park with collecting donations, talking to community members, and educating about Blue Spring State Park. “Sunset at the Zoo” will take place on the fourth Friday of each month running June-August.

Manatee BINGO
The Friends of Blue Spring State Park host weekly Manatee BINGO at Riverwalk Pizzeria and Brewhouse! Volunteers are needed to help set up and run the BINGO games. BINGO takes place every Wednesday evening at 6:30pm.
