Join the Friends of Blue Spring State Park for two special nights of Halloween fun at Blue Spring State Park.

Boo Spring is a fundraising event benefiting the Friends of Blue Spring State Park, helping support projects, programs, and initiatives at Blue Spring and Hontoon Island State Parks.

How Halloween at BOO SPRING Passes Work

BOO SPRING passes are $35 per vehicle, which includes up to 8 people per car. Passes are sold separately for each night. Your $35 pass includes park entry and access to BOO SPRING activities for everyone in your vehicle, up to 8 people. Guests can arrive for Halloween at BOO SPRING anytime after 5:00pm, with the last brave soul let in at 9:00pm.

Activities Throughout the Night

👻 Haunted Trail

Dare to enter? The Haunted Trail opens at 6:30 PM, with the last brave soul allowed in at 9:00 PM. Fun frights and eerie surprises await!

🌕 Guided Moonlight Hikes

Experience the park under the full moon!! Hikes depart every 30 minutes, starting at 6:30 PM, with the final group heading out at 9:00 PM. That’s six chances to join a spooky stroll under the stars.

🛶 Evening Cruises (Tickets sold separately) 

Set sail on a chilling adventure down the river! 1-hr cruises at 6:15 PM and 7:30 PM. Tickets sold separately here.

🎃Haunted Park-After-Dark

Stop by the Roadside Pavilion for ongoing spooky programming all evening long. Expect surprises!

🥤Concessions

Fuel your fright night with snacks and drinks—available throughout the event.

Know Before You Go

BOO SPRING takes place Friday, October 23 and Saturday, October 24, from 6:00–9:30 p.m. Passes for each night are sold separately. Guests can arrive anytime after 5:00 p.m., with the last guests allowed in at 9:00 p.m. While Blue Spring State Park normally closes at 7:30 p.m., registered BOO SPRING guests may remain in the park for the event.

Pets are not permitted. Only working ADA service animals are allowed.

BOO SPRING is a rain-or-shine fundraising event benefiting the Friends of Blue Spring State Park. Because preparations and expenses are made in advance, all passes are non-refundable.

Proceeds help the Friends support additional projects, programs, equipment, improvements, and initiatives at Blue Spring and Hontoon Island State Parks.
