We are a group of volunteers dedicated to helping ensure that Blue Spring State Park remains a fun, interesting, educational, and beautiful place to visit!
The Friends of Blue Spring State Park is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) Citizen Support Organization (CSO) of volunteers dedicated to helping to ensure Blue Spring State Park remains a fun, interesting, educational, and beautiful place to visit! We provide support to the park through volunteering, educating visitors, hosting events and raising funds for specific park projects. The funds we raise can provide additional equipment, buildings, programs, and renovations according to the needs of the park.

Manatee BINGO
Every Wednesday night at 6:30, we have Manatee Bingo at Riverwalk Pizzeria in Orange City! This terrific restaurant and brewery is located at 1070 S. Volusia Ave

Yoga in the Park!
🌅 Sunset Yoga at Blue Spring State Park with Orange City Yoga 🧘♀️

📍 Location: Thursby House Lawn
Unwind and connect with nature in a relaxing sunset yoga session at Blue Spring State Park, hosted by Orange City Yoga! Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this event is designed to enhance your well-being with gentle stretching and strengthening exercises in a peaceful environment.
Please arrive by 6:15 and meet on the Thursby House lawn.

Embrace the tranquility of the park, find balance, and enjoy a unique wellness experience.
Park entry fees are separate and must be paid at the ranger station. Typical fees are $6 for a vehicle with up to 8 people and $4 for a one person vehicle. If you are a Friends member, please use your punch card to enter for free.
Adopt-A-Manatee® in Partnership with Save the Manatee Club
The Friends of Blue Spring State Park have teamed up with Save the Manatee® Club to offer you a special opportunity! When you symbolically adopt a real living manatee through our links, you not only support the efforts of the Club, you also support us, the Friends of Blue Spring State Park!
Rolling Hikes Available at After Hours Events!
Mobility challenged guests can experience the scenic trails in Blue Spring State Park using an all-terrain tracked chair. The chair is FREE, but reservations are required.
Due to the summer heat, we are not doing daytime hikes from June 1st until September 30th. Please join us for the scheduled Full Moon Hikes during the summer.

We are very sorry to announce that due to a decision at the state level, the brick order program ended in mid 2024.
The bricks will remain on display at the park to share your memories, memorials, gratitude, and appreciation!
All bricks have been installed.
