Manatees in Love!
Blue Spring after dark is pure magic. There’s something unforgettable about hearing the soft exhale of manatees, the hoots of owls, and the nighttime chorus of the park once the sun goes down. Join us for a presentation on our beloved manatees, offered at both 5:30 & 6:30 pm. Kids and adults can jump into hands‑on crafts that spark creativity. Pack a picnic dinner and enjoy a breathtaking sunset as it paints the sky in dazzling colors.
Then, as night settles in, stroll the spring boardwalk and watch the park come alive in new and unexpected ways. Listen for the gentle breaths of sleeping manatees, look for elusive wildlife, and see if you can spot gator eyes shimmering in the water. Friendly volunteers will be stationed along the Spring Boardwalk at interpretive stations ready to share their knowledge and answer questions to enhance your experience.
Whether you’re exploring, creating, or simply soaking in the beauty of nature, this is an evening you won’t want to miss.
