It is amazing to experience the serenity and atmosphere of the park after dark. Enjoy the sounds of the night creatures, including bats, mammals, owls, and other birds.
Please join us for the Full ‘Cold‘ Moon Hike on December 4th.
Please arrive at the park by 5:15pm and meet at the Roadside Pavilion by 5:30 pm.. The fee is only $3 per person at the link below.
Plan to bring:
Flashlights
Bug spray
Closed-toe shoes
Water
Important Notes:
The terrain includes grass lawn, scrub trails, loose sand and other hazards.
Please no pets; only ADA Service Animals are allowed.

Winter Solstice

Celebrate the Winter Solstice!
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity and discovery! Kick off the adventure with a Nature Journaling Class, where you'll learn to capture the wonders of the wild through art and observation. Adults and kids can dive into hands-on crafts.
Pack a picnic dinner and savor the breathtaking sunset as it paints the sky with dazzling hues. Then, as darkness falls, welcome winter as you stroll the Luminaria Path, where nature comes alive in new and unexpected ways. Listen to the mysterious night sounds, the exhalations of sleeping manatees, spot elusive wildlife, and look for the gator eyes in the water.
Throughout the journey, friendly volunteers will be stationed and ready to share their knowledge and answer your questions. Whether you're here to explore, create, or simply enjoy the beauty of nature, this is an evening you won’t want to miss!
